As 2009 is on the verge of wrapping up I just wanted to write and reflect on all that I have accomplished this year.
It’s been nearly a year and a half since I left IBM to take the Freelance plunge back on June 19th, 2008. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to work with some really great people, complete my BA in Web Design and do some really fun projects.
As I posted earlier I redesigned WP CO-OP, a company looking to connect WordPress professionals with people who need them. I was interviewed by Jayson Cote regarding the new design, you can read that interview here.
I recently joined WP CO-OP after hearing about it though Jayson Cote, here in Boulder. I met up with him at the Boulder Wordpress Meetup and we discussed what WP CO-OP is all about.
It’s not often that I check my google analytics for this site, but today I did and found that this website was featured in 65 New Examples Of Beautiful Single Page Website Designs.
I love design, but sometimes things just do not work out for one reason or another. With that said, this was a web design I really liked, but our client choose not to move forward with it.
I’m entering matthaltom.com in a contest for new blogs. The contest is open to any new blogs launched in 2009 that uses a WordPress design template.
I have just graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Web Design & Multimedia. It was a long road over two and a half years & now I’d like to reflect on the experience.
